Our Story
My natural health journey started in 2014 when my family started having reactions to products that we had used for years. As I started researching, I discovered that the majority of products on the market have ingredients in them that are considered toxic.
Our skin is the largest organ in the body and also considered to be semi-permiable, meaning that it can absorb what is put on it. After 14 years of working in the medical field this was a hard pill to swallow realizing that these toxins were, in fact, being absorbed into our bodies through our skin. So I set out to minimize this exposure to these toxins by switching to natural products.
My enthusiasm quickly fell flat as I tried natural product lines that seemed to always leave me lacking. Whether it was the functionality, consistency or smell, I couldn’t find products that met my standards.
So I decided to take matters into my own hands and started learning how to formulate my own products. I started taking online courses, learning from professionals on not only how to create a product but how to do it safely and effectively.
I quickly fell in love with the whole process. Handpicking the natural ingredients, blending beautifully aromatic scents with essential oils and then putting them all together to create something functional, luxurious and beautiful. I learned that natural does not have to mean sub-par or boring. After years of friends and family using and loving my products I decided it was time to share them with the world, and so I started Pure by Jennifer Christine.

It is important for us to do our part in lessening our environmental impact as a company, therefore we offer recyclable and reusable materials, as well as continually making internal green initiatives to help us move towards a more sustainable future.
WHAT NATURAL MEANS TO US
To us natural means something made with ingredients that originate from nature, be it plant or other natural resources. These naturally derived ingredients can undergo a degree of chemical changes due to biological processes such as fermentation, distillation, cold processing and refining, in order to create the finished ingredient.
Pure by Jennifer Christine is not certified organic, but the main suppliers that we use hold these certifications. In fact, more than 75% of the ingredients we get from our suppliers are certified organic and non-GMO and the remainder are derived from plants and other natural resources.
